Wikipedia says…. Korean fried chicken differs from typical American fried chicken because it is fried twice; the skin is therefore crunchier and less greasy. Furthermore, Korean-style chicken is not characterized by the crags and crusty nubs associated with American fried chicken. The chicken is usually seasoned with spices, sugar, and salt, prior to and after being fried. After frying, the chicken is usually hand-painted with sauce using a brush in order to evenly coat the chicken with a thin layer.

We take it a step further…..
The chefs at Lazy Susan make Korean Style Fried Chicken. What makes our chicken so special? It takes us three days, and three different processes to make that ever so juicy, light and crispy gluten free fried chicken. We brine the chicken for two days in wakame, salt and sugar. After that each part of the chicken is steamed. After steaming, we buttermilk dip it, dredge in three flours and fry it low at 300 degrees, and once again at 350 degrees to ensure it’s light, crisp and ever so juicy. Every week the chicken is served with house made kimchi, house made spam mac & cheese (yes, we even make our spam), sticky rice and Asian style veggies. The chicken is first come, first served — If you want to guarantee you have a chance at trying this special treat give us a call when we have it!
